Golden Mask - 12.5x15 inch | 32x38 cm - vlf

The 32x38 cm (12.5x15) inch DD elliptic search coil for Golden Mask Metal Detectors is the largest Golden Mask coil, designed to detect large coins and relics at maximum depth. The Fat Jack elliptic has enormous ground coverage and works well on light to normal soils. This coil may produce faulty signals on heavily mineralized soils (depending on the detector used), but reaches targets at great depths, that others just miss. With it's heavy weight, this coil is not suitable for all-day searching, but is ideal for quick-check a limited space for large metal objects. Works best on manual ground balance and low frequencies - 8kHz or lower. Offered in two versions: 1. MF design - works on all latest models that use the multi-frequency protocol. Does NOT work on the single-frequency 8 kHz models (GM2, GM3); 2. Single-frequency 8 kHz to be used on the 8 kHz models (GM 2 and GM3). This coil does not have a protector!
