General Conditions

User Agreement and Terms Acceptance

This is a contract between you and Linoart Ltd. owner of the GoldenMaskDetectors.com on-line shop. By visiting the GoldenMaskDetectors.com website (stated bellow as “GMD”) you agree with all the terms and conditions, listed anywhere on the website. If you don’t agree even with a single term, you have no the right to use the site and purchase any goods sold by GMD.

A payment for any good for the price, listed on the website plus the shipping charges is considered as an offer and terms acceptance. If you made a payment, it is presumed that you accept all the terms listed here and the terms listed in the other Terms and Conditions pages under the TERMS AND CONDITIONS category in the footer of the website - Payment, Shipping, Warranty and Privacy Policy. The payment confirmation e-mail you receive after a successful payment is considered a contract acceptance confirmation on behalf of Linoart Ltd.

Liability

GMD always attempts to ensure that all the information and images about a products offered, available on this site, are accurate. However, we cannot guarantee that it is fault-free and we cannot be held responsible for any omissions or errors.

Risk of Loss

GMD does not cover any losses during the shipping process. GMD is responsible for your goods till their delivery to the carrier. After that point, all responsibility for the delivery is transferred to the carrier and GMD cannot be held responsible for any loss or injury during the delivery process. All the parcels we ship have full insurance coverage so if a parcel is lost, the shipping company pays it and we reship the order. You can track your order in the carrier’s system with a tracking number we provide after we ship your order.

Applicable Law

By using the GMD website, you agree that this contract shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with the Bulgarian law and the Courts of Bulgaria shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes.

All the content of the GMD website, including photos, illustrations, logos, programming code and so on is copyright protected by the Bulgarian Law for Copyrights. The Golden Mask trademark and the Golden Mask logo are property of GM Metaldetectors Ltd. - Bulgaria, and are used in the GMD website with their owner’s consent.

To make things easy, we currently offer two payment methods:

  • Payment on delivery (available in Bulgaria only)

  • Bank transfer is available only for products with value of 25 EUR and above.
  • If you don’t see a “Bank Transfer” option for your order at checkout, you must choose from the available options.
  • Orders paid by bank transfer are processed once the payment is received

Good to Know

You don’t need a bank account to make a bank transfer.

Many customers use online services such as Revolut, Wise, or similar platforms to send payments using their debit or credit card. These services are fast, secure, and widely trusted.

Shipping & Tracking

General shipping conditions

Orders paid with PayPal will be delivered to the PayPal address of the customer! Please make sure to provide precise address and phone number, otherwise you cannot receive your order! The shipping companies will NOT deliver to a PO box!

We do ship AFTER your payment is cleared, no matter what payment method you've used. No exceptions! PayPal instant payments are usually cleared in minutes. PayPal electronic cheque payments are cleared usually in 5 to 15 days. Bank transfer payments are usually cleared in 24-48 hours, but payments from some specific countries that do not use the SWIFT system may take much longer.

We ship within 7 working days after your payment is cleared. We do ship usually in 2-3 days, but it is possible that this term extends up to 7 working days. In some periods of huge demand or market overload, for example around the Christmas holidays, the shipping may be delayed more than usual. We will inform you if for some reason we are unable to ship your order within 7 working days.

DPD / Speedy shipments

You can track your order at:
- the Speedy website - enter the tracking number you received via PayPal.

DHL shipments

You can track your order at:
- the DHL tracking page - enter the tracking number we've sent you via the PayPal system.

TNT / FedEx shipments

You can track your order at:
- the TNT tracking page - enter the tracking number we've sent you via the PayPal system.

Postal shipments

Postal shipments are not fully trackable - they could be tracked until they leave Bulgaria and then from the moment they enter the country of destination. Between these two points the tracking is not possible. You can track your order at:
- the website of the Bulgarian posts or
- use a global tracking service as 17track - using the tracking number we've sent you via the PayPal system.

EU Shipping

Our main shipping method is DPD ECONOMY by DPD. A tracking number is available for tracking your order. We ship via the DPD partner in Bulgaria - Speedy, the tracking number you will receive is for tracking on the Speedy website (see above). DPD will deliver to all the countries within the EU in 3 to 9 working days, depending on your location.

We ship to Bulgaria, Greece and Romania with Speedy (speedy.bg), the delivery in Romania and Greece is made bythe Speedy partners. The delivery takes 1-3 days, but for some Greek islands may take up to 7 working days.

The delivery time could be extended in periods of over-load of the shipping companies, for example around Christmas, Black Friday, global sales etc.

The quoted delivery times are estimates only, we don't have control on the shipping after the parcel is accepted by the carrier and we do not accept any liability or penalty for late delivery nor we can affect in any way the delivery times.

EU Shipping Charges

The shipping charge to the EU countries is set by our system according to the pricing policy at Speedy/DPD - our main shipping company for EU orders.

Shipping to Cyprus, North Ireland and Malta is with DHL/TNT - sorry, DPD does not deliver to these countries.

The default shipping charges, displayed on our website are for a parcel with total weight of up to 3 kg. If your order exceeds this weight, additional shipping charges may apply. A single VLF detector with a medium-sized coil, batteries, the cartoon and all the accessories in the kit weights approximately 2.6 kg without the wireless headphones and up to 2.9 kg with the wireless headphones included.

Insured Courier Shipments

If your order is shipped with a courier service (DPD, DHL, TNT), the parcel is shipped with insurance at the full amount you've paid.

Please check the goods for any defects and/or injuries and missing components caused by the transportation BEFORE the courier leaves! If you find something wrong - broken or missing part, you should ask the courier to make a document (protocol) about all injuries or missing parts. With this documents you could ask payment of a compensation and prove any complaint.

Low-cost orders

Low-cost orders (orders with total value under 50 EUR incl. the shipping charge) are shipped with the Bulgarian posts, with priority mail, signed for. Delivery to EU countries takes around 7-14 working days. Delivery to the United States takes around 8-20 working days. Delivery to other countries could take up to 15-30 working days. Delays are possible in some periods, for example before Christmas.

Non-EU and Worldwide Shipping

If you are outside the European Union, we will ship your order with DHL or FedEx/TNT. Our system automatically calculates the shipping charge - you can see the amount above the PayPal button. The shipping charge includes full insurance for your purchase.

The shipping to countries outside the EU requires some additional export procedures and papers that take up to 3 days. So your order is not shipped immediately after we receive the payment, but right after we prepare all the papers needed and the customs authorities release the parcel for export.

WARNING! If you are outside the EU, you get a lower price without VAT, but you'll probably have to pay an import tax and/or VAT in your country. In some countries you'll have to pay both. So please make a research about customs duties in your country and be prepared to pass an import procedure.

If you don't see the PayPal Add To Cart button, please contact us by e-mail with your name, country and delivery address, as well as the goods you want tо purchase. We will give you a shipping quote and detailed instructions on how to proceed with your order. Be aware, that we cannot export to some countries such as Russia, because of some EU export restrictions.

Other Shipping Options

If you prefer other carrier than the ones we use, or you want a different way to receive your purchase, please contact us - we will do the necessary to have your order shipped the way you prefer. Please be aware, that this is not always applicable, since there are export limitations for some destinations outside the EU.

Warranty Terms

The goods we sell are new, tested and packaged by the producer. The detectors and the coils are supplied with a warranty card and user guide. The warranty term for is as follows:
- 5 years for the main electronic board of the detectors
- 2 years for the rest - battery charger, search coil, headphones, keypad, potentiometers and shafts

When the final purchaser/user is a company, the warranty term is 2 years from the date of the purchase.

The warranty does NOT cover any physical damage, caused by the user, no matter if by accident or intentionally, that could be avoided by normal careful usage - broken or damaged parts, cables, knobs and cable plugs. The warranty does NOT cover batteries.

Please do not open the device or try to repair it yourself or by any other unauthorized person. Such actions lead to warranty void. Warranty repairs shall be made ONLY by the producer.

In case of warranty claim, prior of taking any other action, please contact us by e-mail with detailed description of the problem occurring with your product and we will get back to you ASAP with detailed instructions on how to proceed.

Products under warranty that need repair or replacement, must be returned to our office address at your cost. If the repair is under the warranty conditions, we will pay the shipping charge from our address to yours, otherwise (if the damage is caused by the user), you will have to pay the shipping charge for the return shipping. The return shipment shall be made from the name of the original purchaser and from the country the detector was initially shipped to.

If you reside outside the EU, it may be impossible to return a product for repair because of customs clearance issues. Please contact us before shipping a detector for repair! Otherwise the customs may reject the import and your parcel may be returned.

Returns

Returns Conditions

If you are not totally satisfied we offer a full 100% money back guarantee - items value only, shipping costs are non-refundable. Refunds are paid by the same mean you've used for your order. For example, if you've paid for your order by bank transfer, the refund will be also made by bank transfer.

Return conditions apply to EU (European Union) customers ONLY!
Goods sold outside the EU cannot be returned!

Returns are accepted if ALL the following conditions apply:
- the goods are not the ones you've ordered;
- the goods are not used;
- the goods are in the original package and with the full components set originally received.

The goods must be returned at your own cost, in their original packaging, within 14 days from the receipt date, in the same condition they were originally received. We will refund the full amount paid (less the shipping charge and the PayPal fee, if the payment is made through PayPal) for the goods as long as they are returned suitably packaged and in unused condition with their original packaging. If the goods have any mark of usage or missing parts from the original set, they will be deemed as accepted by the purchaser, no refund is applicable, we will reship the goods to you.

Please contact us before proceeding to a return and let us know the reason. We will investigate the problem and will give you instructions on how to proceed with the return. Refunds will be made within 14 days after we receive the returned goods.

Customer Complaints Handling

If a product that has been purchased from GoldenMaskDetectors.com does not match your expectations or you have a dissatisfaction of any kind regarding the shop or the goods offered, please contact us by e-mail and let us know the details and the nature of your complaint. Please describe the problem as detailed as possible. We will handle your complaint ASAP (usually within 7 working days) and will let you know what initial action we will take to resolve the problem, if any. We will keep you informed by email of the progress we are making with your dispute.

Returned non-delivered parcels

Parcels are returned by the shipping companies if they are unable to deliver the parcel within two delivery attempts. Reasons for this could be: you provided a wrong address and/or phone number; you are not at the address you provided; you refuse to receive the parcel; you refuse to pay the import duties (if any).

We do always ship to the address you provide with the order, so if the parcel cannot be delivered, this is most probably your fault. If the parcel is returned from a EU country, we will refund you the full order value minus the shipping charge. If the return is from a non-EU country, it could be a loss for you. In this case we will refund the order value minus the shipping charge and minus all the following expenses we will have to pay - the return shipping charge; parcel storage tax in your country (if any); import/export papers handling taxes (if any); import duties in Bulgaria (when the parcel is imported back) and import procedure tax in our country. In this case, a refund could take up to 3 months.

Privacy Policy (GDPR)

Personal Data Protection Policy

GMD does not collect any personal information about you except for information that you voluntarily provide when you submit an email or an order for a product that we sell through this shop. All the personal information is treated confidentially and is carefully protected from unauthorized use. As a personal information we consider the following: your name, postal address, IP address (location), e-mail address, bank account number and phone number.

We do not use user profiles with our store, so all personal information about our customers is stored on the PayPal servers and you can manage the stored information from your PayPal account. We use the information from PayPal to issue an invoice for your order and to ship the order to your address. We keep some of your personal data only for accounting purposes, according to the Bulgarian tax and accounting law and in accordance with the EU GDPR act.

We do not collect, nor we could see any credit/debit card information - those are accessed only by our card processing partner - PayPal.
