Detailed Description
General description of the model, not the particular item version!
The Golden Mask VIRTUS is a simplified version of the hybrid (BSP) Altus metal detector by Golden Mask, with two very important additions:
1. The Virtus has a SENSITIVITY switch with two positions: LOW and HIGH. This allows the detector to work flawlessly on every type of soil, including wet beach sand and soils with very high mineralization, when set at LOW.
2. The sensitivity to low-conductive metals and alloys was improved, now the detector could detect all types of coins, delivering almost the same depth of detection as its bigger brother - the Golden Mask Altus.
The Virtus uses the same BSP (Binary Sinus Pulse) technology, used in the Altus — a hybrid waveform combining two sine signals of different frequencies, producing a continuous bipolar pulse with sinusoidal edges and plateaus.
